Why did you join SFHF?

As a trained tennis player from a young age at the Hong Kong Sports Institute and a specialist in sports and healthcare product design, I believe SFHF offers a unique arena to truly understand athletes’ evolving needs. The Foundation feels like a family that inspires its members to be confident, outgoing, and to embrace every possibility. My goal is to leverage my experience and expertise to nurture individual talent and build stronger teams, whose achievements will elevate Hong Kong’s presence and reputation on the global sporting stage.

What does SFHF mean to you?

SFHF is an interactive initiative dedicated to unlocking the untapped potential of young athletes while empowering retired sportsmen and women to share their expertise with a new generation. It provides a much-needed platform for growth and transformation, nurturing confidence, competence, and resilience. I am committed to doing everything I can to help these young athletes design their own pathways to success, building skills, self-belief that extend far beyond sports and into every aspect of their lives.

What is your role in SFHF?

I bring an interdisciplinary perspective that strengthens how we support young athletes holistically by clearly communicating the needs of Hong Kong’s next generation of sporting talent. I collaborate with former athletes to design effective knowledge-transfer tools and educational programs, ensuring that SFHF remains a sustainable platform capable of empowering and uplifting young athletes for many years to come.

What are your goals at SFHF?

To create a lasting positive sports environment in Hong Kong by carrying out sustainable projects for SFHF. This includes supporting my fellow SFHF family members, leveraging knowledge transfer to innovate locally-branded sports-related assistive tools, and evolving robust projects that will facilitate sustainable fund-building.

“Sport has the power to inspire, educate, build values, instill discipline and promote a healthy lifestyle.” Through design, education, and mentorship, I believe we can amplify this power to transform lives and communities, creating ripples of positive change that extend across generations.
